Main Gate Wall Surprise

Sometime Sunday evening (Jan 15th) a portion of the inside wall on the left side of the Main Gate collapsed. Jim Fletcher was the first to report it.

It would appear that there were a number of cracks that had developed over the last 15 years and finally it gave way, spilling the exterior stonework and internal rubble.

The Ranch has asked for 3 quotes for the work needed to repair the wall and work will begin soon to make the necessary repairs. There are also repairs needed to the main gate support stonework, as it has started to shear off from the iron gate support structure.

Repair of the wall is scheduled to begin the first week in February 2017.

And... the wall repairs are complete!
