Cattle Return to WCR
The cattle have begun to return to WCR. David Russell, our new Cattle Rancher, began relocating his cattle to the ranch on February 14th. The total herd will be composed of 28 cows, 2 bulls and the number of calves will be determined by mother nature. It will take some time for the cattle to become accustomed to their new surroundings and co-residents, so take care when you find yourself among them. They are currently in the area near the Pavilion, but as they become more comfortable with the area, expect them to drift around the ranch. NOTE: Please remind your guests and contractors that the speed limit is 20 1/2mph and to be watchful of our new cattle and the ever present deer that can and do appear out of nowhere.
